British Isles cruise

12 days starting in Southampton and circling the Isles clockwise with ports in Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Eastern England, and the isle of Guernsey. I was ready to go home and most of the ships excursions were to see old castles, cathedrals and forts. We had seen many of these in the U.K. from our 1 month driving tour of England so we typically went onshore and explored the city or town we ported in. We jumped on a few day trains and returned in time for sail away later that day. The weather was a little cold and sometimes wet, but rarely where we coulded get out. The seas were rough for several days, which necessitated missing one of our ports. Got a little queasy a couple of times but never tossed them cookies. There was no way to enjoy sitting on deck as it was too cold, so you did what all cruises do-eat-eat-eat. I did well not to gain too much weight on my 6 mo excursion until we ended with back to back cruises. Below are pics of the last cruise with no comments as I am burned out.

GLAD TO BE HOME AND AVAILABLE TO MY DAUGHTER, TRACI, WHO LOST HER HOUSE IN THE MEMORIAL AREA WITH NO FLOOD INSURANCE, AND MY SISTER IN KATY WHO ALSO LOST HER HOUSE.
